Description
Systemic serotonin is a primary driver of the inflammatory process, largely formed in the gut. It is then carried into the blood where it acts as a powerful vasoconstrictor except in the mid meningeal artery where it vasodilators, instigating vascular headache or migraine. Serotonin is metabolised or broken down by a series of enzymes that are stimulated by the nutrients contained within this formula.
Initially copper and Riboflavin-5-phosphate stimulate the monoamine oxidase pathway, followed by a group of plant-based polyphenolic and antioxidant compounds namely Quercetin, Bromelain, Turmeric and Ginger, which stimulate conjugation of the oxidised metabolites.
