Chris is going to teach you in his updated version of the Cognitive Decline seminar. You are most welcome to attend this seminar in person. It will be recorded for viewing by the ICAK Australasia chapter meeting on 6th October 2023 and will only be available to view online after this date.
Chris is going to split the teaching into eight sections each approximately half an hour with about 15 minutes of demonstrations.
Section 1. What we know happens in Cognitive Decline. Loss of vital senses. Biomarkers. Genetics such as APOE4, Homocystinemia, Hypertension, Type two diabetes and HA1c.
Section 2. Autonomic imbalance, Chromosomal meridians.
Section 3. Oxygen the ultimate nutrient. Hypoxia. Vascular dementia, Brain foods such as Glucose, Glutamine, Saturated fatty acids. ATP production, Mitochondrial dysfunction, B12.
Section 4. Nutritional deficiency such as Vit D, Mg, fatty acids, Taurine, Phos choline, Polyphenols, Flavanols, Carotenoids, Quercetin, Ginkgo, Turmeric.
Section 5. Allergy for example to Wheat or Dairy. Toxic metals –such as Aluminium, Cadmium, Mercury and Nickel. Chemicals such as Phthalates, Propionic acid, Ultra processed foods and exposure to ionising Radiation.
Section 6. Infections especially Toxoplasmosis, Herpes, Covid and Chlamydia. Gut dysbiosis and increased GUT permeability and alternations in immune, glial and platelet activity, Probiotics, and the Mediterranean diet.
Section 7. Circadian rhythms, BLUE light. Phototherapy. Loneliness, lack of brain stimulation, Depression, and Hypothyroid.
Section 8. Neurogenesis and Synaptogenesis.
