After extensive research and experimentation, we have decided to remove the alcohol from our Organic Perfumes and replaced it with MCT oil (Coconut oil).
Gentle & Moisturising – This swap means the perfume exhibits moisturising properties, hydrating the skin and leaving it soft and supple, while being kind and gentle to sensitive skin.
Longevity – Coconut oil has a slower evaporation rate compared to alcohol. This means that perfumes made with coconut oil tend to last longer on the skin, providing a more sustained fragrance throughout the day.
Natural Scent – The Coconut oil has a subtle, pleasant scent of its own, which can complement and enhance the fragrance of other essential oils or perfume ingredients. This natural scent adds a unique dimension to the perfume.
Eco Friendly – Coconut oil is a renewable resource that is biodegradable and environmentally friendly. Using it as a base for perfume can be a more sustainable option compared to alcohol.
Coconut oil-based perfumes may not have the same initial “alcohol burst” when applied as traditional alcohol-based perfumes. So initially not such a strong smell but the fragrance still remains on the skin.
