Smart Turmeric is a blend of organic turmeric and organic black cumin seeds. Turmeric contains compounds called curcuminoids, the most important of which is curcumin. Curcumin is poorly absorbed into the bloodstream so the addition of black cumin seeds helps to enhance the absorption of the curcumin.
